A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for much of North Central Montana until 10 PM Thursday evening.
This includes Broadwater, Meagher, Judith Basin, Cascade, Choteau, Fergus, Blaine, Phillips, and Valley County.
Severe storms are possible, with high winds as high as 70 miles per hour, and hail as large as ping pong balls.
Even away from the watch area strong storms will be possible.
Storms are already developing, and will continue into the evening.
In general storms will follow a northeasterly track through the area.
