Rain, rain go away…more rain expected for Memorial Day

A slow-moving upper level disturbance will continue to bring rain, heavy at times to the state through Monday evening.

Thunderstorm chances will stick to portions of southwest Montana.

An Areal Flood Warning is in effect for portions of the state.

Precipitation shifts south on Monday, affecting areas between Bozeman and Great Falls.

For areas to the north, along highway 2, is expected to stay mostly dry on Monday.

Temperatures still remain below average on Monday before starting to warm on Tuesday.

High pressure ridge also will allow all rain to end by Tuesday.

Temperatures will begin warming back to average and above average throughout the week.

Chances of showers and thunderstorms move back in Thursday to end the work with the passage of a cold front.
