Rain will be the theme of the forecast through the long weekend.

In fact, we’re already tracking rain showers and storms Friday afternoon.

That rain is mostly along and west of the Rocky Mountain Front, and is slowly drifting off to the east.

The rain will start to die out by the late evening.

Temperatures fall into the lower 40s overnight.

Highs return to the 60s Saturday, with more scattered showers and storms developing.

Another round of rain develops Sunday, potentially lasting into Monday morning, as a cold front swings through the state.

Some spots, particularly the Rocky Mountain Front, could get lots of rain through Monday, with an inch or more falling.
