Gloomy weather continues

It’s been yet another gloomy day.

Temperatures are on the cool side, skies are cloudy, and we’ve even got a bit of light rain falling.

The same can be expected for Tuesday

Temperatures will start off cool once again, mainly in the 30s.

Highs will top out in the lower 50s.

We’ll see rain showers developing by the afternoon, and some mountain snow as well.

The mountain snow will last through Wednesday night, with as much as 10 inches of accumulation along the higher peaks.

Despite the gloominess, things could be much worse.

The southern plains are currently dealing with a very dangerous severe weather outbreak, with confirmed tornadoes already reported.

We’ll keep an eye on that situation through the night.
