Except for a few showers early in the day, Thursday has been dry and nice and sunny.

We won’t see weather like that again for some time.

Clouds begin to increase Thursday night, and we remain cloudy Friday.

We’ll also see scattered showers and thunderstorms Friday afternoon and evening.

Highs will be in the mid 50s.

We clear out early on Saturday, but then more scattered rain is in the forecast by Saturday afternoon.

Rain turns to snow Saturday night, and lasts at least until early Sunday, with some models keeping snow around through most of Sunday.

Given the model differences, it’s too early to nail down an accurate snow forecast, but accumulating snow is possible, even at lower elevations.

Stay tuned for more updates as the storm system develops.
