Rain & snow in the forecast

We’ve seen a few very light showers Monday afternoon.

A more significant round of moisture is headed our way.

Snow showers will move into the state early Tuesday, as temperatures will hover around the freezing mark.

Places like Helena could see a trace of snow, with a few inches in the mountains.

The moisture will continue to lift north and east, and turn to mostly rain as highs climb into the mid 40s.

Between a tenth of an inch and a quarter inch of rain and melted snow is expected, with a few spots picking up as much as half an inch.
