Flooding from ice jams and snow melt continues.

Parts of the Milk River, the Poplar River, and now the Missouri River have hall hit major flood stage in the past few days.

As of Wednesday afternoon the Missouri River at Landusky was measured over 36 feet, breaking it’s previous record crest.

We’ve also got rain and snow moving in that won’t help our flooding.

Light showers will continue Wednesday afternoon, with steadier snow expect overnight.

Another round of rain and snow comes Thursday, and even a few lingering showers are possible through Friday.

Accumulations will be mostly light, but places like Helena could pick up 3  to 5 inches, with even more in the mountains.
