Our consecutive stretch of warmer weather has been very enjoyable.

However, it has led to lots of melting snow, and some minor flooding.

Various flood alerts are now in effect.

The main impacts are flooding in low lying and poor drainage areas, as well as some rising creeks and streams.

The snow melt and refreeze cycle continues Saturday.

Lows will be in the 20s, and highs will be in the mid 40s to lower 50s, so flooding concerns will continue.

We’ll be watching Sunday very closely.

Rain and snow showers are possible, which could make flooding worse.

Fortunately, it doesn’t look like we’ll pick up too much precipitation, but we could see some light snow accumulations in Northeast Montana.
