A cold front moved through Saturday morning causing winds to strengthen and snow showers to move in.

White out conditions and severe driving conditions were reported through the afternoon but snow will continue to gradually end this afternoon and evening across central Montana.

Southwest Montana will continue to see snow as this cold front stalls.

Then Sunday afternoon and evening this snow will spread north as moisture streams in.

Generally areas in central Montana will see 6-12” of snow with higher amounts in the southwest and lower amounts towards the north.

This snow event will last through Tuesday morning with more chances of snow possible Wednesday through Friday.

Temperatures remain below zero or in the single digits through Tuesday as well before slightly warming up in the teens and twenties on Wednesday.
