Arctic air is bearing down on the Midwest.

Wind chills 50 below or colder will be common over the next few days.

Most of our state is going to be missing out on the bitter cold.

In general central Montana will be chilly Tuesday, with highs in the lower 20s to lower 30s.

Eastern, especially northeastern, Montana will be cold.

Highs in extreme northeast Montana may not even make it above zero Tuesday!

There, a Wind Chill Advisory is in effect Monday night through Wednesday morning.

Wind chills could dip to -35!

Other than the cold, not much is expected Tuesday.

Skies will be mostly sunny, and winds will be fairly light.
