This weekend’s snow has left many roads in Central Montana covered with a layer of snow and ice.

As temperatures fall into the single digits, or even below zero as we head into the New Year, roads will remain slippery.

Take it slow if you’re heading out to celebrate.

You’ll also want to bundle up, as wind chills will be as cold as the teens below zero.

Highs New Years Day will be in the mid to upper 20s, but it will feel more like the mid teens thanks to winds gusting around 30 miles per hour.

Warmer weather arrives Wednesday.
