Finally a break in the wind… for this morning.

By this afternoon, wind picks back up and whips across the Rocky Mountain Front and Central Montana.

A High Wind Warning goes into effect for the Rocky Mountain Front once again this afternoon at 3 PM until tomorrow morning.

A High Wind Watch goes into effect late tonight through tomorrow morning for parts of Lewis and Clark County, Cascade County, and Judith Basin.

Gusts could reach up to 60 MPH in the Watch areas and over 70 MPH in areas in the High Wind Warning.

We are still tracking much milder weather though the end of the work week before cooler weather settles in just in time for Christmas.

Fingers crossed Santa can bring us some snow for Christmas Eve and Christmas day- hold the wind.
