HELENA – A judge set bond at $25,000 for a 20-year-old Helena man accused of sexually assaulting two underage girls.

Christian Daniel Velasquez appeared in Lewis and Clark County Justice Court Wednesday afternoon.

Court documents state a parent contacted police after seeing a social media message from Velasquez to one of the girls referencing an alleged rape and sexual assault from two years ago.

In an interview with police, the girl said Velasquez came into her room on two nights. On one night, she said she woke up to find Velasquez on top of her. The second night she said she awoke to him touching her.

According to court records, when police interviewed Velasquez he admitted to first assault, and to a second, with a different girl.

In both cases, Velasquez was 18 years old, and both of the girls were under the age of 16.

He has been charged with one felony count of sexual intercourse without consent and two felony counts of sexual assault.
