Jeremiah Wayne McNees of Jefferson City, wanted on charges from December, was arrested late last week.
McNees was arrested last Thursday after giving law enforcement officers a false ID during a traffic stop.
McNees is accused of entering a Helena home last December and getting into an argument with a woman when he accused her of cheating on him.
McNees allegedly put the victim in a headlock and struck her in the back of the head multiple times.
McNees, 36 years old, is accused of leaving the area and eluding police officers.
McNees has convictions for assault with a weapon and criminal endangerment.
His bond has been set at $10,000.
He is scheduled to be arraigned in District Court later this month on a felony charge of aggravated burglary, and an alternative charge of felony partner/family member assault.
