There are plenty of Christmas and holiday-themed movies and TV specials to choose from every year – but which one ranks as Montana’s favorite?
According to a recent survey, it’s "Frosty The Snowman."
Nationally, it is ranked #11. According to CableTV.com, Montana is the only state to rank "Frosty" as #1.
"Frosty" first aired on December 7, 1969, on CBS (where it still airs to this day), and tells the story of a snowman who comes to life when he wears a magical hat.
CableTV.com took the top-rated holiday movies as ranked by viewers at AMC (American Movie Classics), and then cross-referenced them with Google Trends state data from the past decade to determine state favorites.
