Thanks for checking out the STORMTracker Weather Blog on this terrific Thursday.
For the eighth day in a row, Helena experienced warmer than average temperatures. On Thursday, Helena Regional Airport recorded a high temperature of 45°.
Winter fanatics aren’t happy about this, but they’ll like what I have to say next… winter will make a comeback.
Last Sunday, we made it up to 63°. By this Sunday, our high will be closer to 33°.
Colder air is in the forecast and it’ll arrive just in time for the weekend.
At this time, I’m not calling for an extreme drop in temperatures so you don’t have to worry about transitioning from the mild weather to something out of the frozen tundra of the Arctic.
In fact, it appears we’re going to see several ups and downs in the coming days — a little something for everyone.
Montana will see a little snow over the weekend (mainly Saturday). Watch out for an additional blog post on the snow amounts in the coming hours.
