JUDITH BASIN COUNTY — A 38-year-old man from Hobson died in a single-vehicle crash on Montana Secondary Highway S-239 on Saturday afternoon.
According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the man was traveling eastbound in a 1990 Chevy K pickup when it left the right side of the road. The driver made a hard left in an attempt to regain control of the vehicle, but sideslipped to the right and the vehicle tipped over. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and declared dead on scene. He was not wearing a seat belt.
MHP received the call near mile marker 8.7 just after 3 p.m. Saturday.
The road conditions were bare and dry. Alcohol is a suspected factor in the crash.
