ExplorationWorks celebrated the grand opening of their new garden classroom exhibit on Friday.
The project was officially set in motion in October last year, courtesy of the Tracy Foundation and now is in full bloom.
ExplorationWorks was given a grant to open their latest exhibit.
Thanks to the Foundation and their efforts in making the garden grow, children can learn about the necessities of agriculture, and where their food comes from.
Kelly Posewitz, Executive Director, said “Exploration Works is really excited to open up this new, outdoor, garden, classroom. We have a brand-new garden and an outdoor classroom and a play area...it's been a dream of ours for a long time, so it’s really awesome to see it come to life.”
The garden is open to the public and everyone is welcome to come and enjoy it, children and adults, alike.
