Sen. Johnny Isakson was hospitalized on Tuesday night after sustaining injuries from a fall in his apartment, fracturing four ribs, his office says.
The Georgia Republican, who is 74, is currently recovering at George Washington University Hospital, said a spokeswoman, Amanda Maddox.
He is “in pain, but resting and doing well,” Maddox said, adding that Isakson “looks forward to fully recovering and getting back to work for Georgians.”
