MARTINEZ, California (Bay Area News Group) — A 32-year-old woman is wanted on charges of gross vehicular manslaughter, in connection with a crash on Christmas Day that killed a Rodeo man.

Jessica Marie Eggleson-Davey was charged last month with vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, and there is a $250,000 active warrant for her arrest, authorities said.

The crash occurred a little before 11 a.m. Dec. 25, on Cummings Skyway just north of state Highway 4. Eggleson-Davey’s car drifted off the road, then swerved back and collided with an SUV in the process.

The SUV’s driver, 57-year-old Edward Garner, was killed.

The charging records do not say whether Eggleson-Davey is suspected of being high on drugs or drunk, they just allege she was “intoxicated” at the time of the crash. Vehicular manslaughter cases can take months before enough evidence is generated for an arrest, because investigators must wait for blood test results to return.

Eggleson-Davey’s whereabouts are unknown, according to authorities. She has had addresses in Vallejo.

A 2012 article by the Napa Valley Register says Eggleson-Davey was arrested at the Walmart in American Canyon on suspicion of shoplifting and meth possession.
