Belgrade man dies in lumberyard accident near Three Forks

A Belgrade man died on Thursday due to injuries sustained in a lumberyard accident near Three Forks, according to the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff’s Office says that at 6:39 p.m. on Thursday, the Gallatin County 911 Center received a call of a man who had an accident while unloading logs from a tractor-trailer at a lumberyard outside of Three Forks.

Deputies and Three Forks Ambulance arrived and found 69-year-old Allan Wagner of Belgrade dead, having succumbed to blunt force injuries sustained during the accident.

Gallatin County deputies and a deputy coroner investigated the incident.
